PCB TO EXPORT DROP-IN PITCHES FROM PINDI TO ENGLAND AND AUSTRALIA -RAMIZ RAJA
RAWALPINDI: The first test between Pakistan and England saw the Englishmen emerge triumphant, the latter winning by 74 runs. PCB chairman had nothing but praise for a “beautifully” curated pitch responsible for such an exciting finish.
“I mean, hats off to the curators. They’ve done a fantastic job. It’s no easy task producing a wicket that offers joy to only the batsmen” Ramiz Raja said. “We are in talks with the ECB and Cricket Australia, and they are overjoyed to import drop-in pitches from Rawalpindi.”
The Prime Minister of Pakistan also praised the Rawalpindi pitch, and offered PCB the contract to build roads along the CPEC corridor. The second test of the three match series begins on December 9th.
