ED BOON TEASES MORTAL COMBAT 12, ‘WILL FEATURE AKHTAR LAWA’

UNITED STATES: Popular arcade franchise, Mortal Kombat, was created 30 years ago by Midway, and has since garnered a huge following. Their games are known for brutal and gruesome finishing moves.
Mortal Kombat’s co-creator, Ed Boone, has hinted at the release of a new game to celebrate the 30th anniversary, which will be the 12th addition to the series. “This installment will be a game changer,” he said. “New, stronger characters will be making appearances. The most noticeable being Akhtar Lawa.”
“His powers would be superior even to Liu Kang, and the finishing move will be called Lahore Da Pawa,” Boone explained. “In tribute to Akhtar Lawa, an arena featuring the Lahore Fortress will also be made available as a DLC.”
