“We are helping Pakistan.” – PCB Chairman After 6 Pakistani Players Test Positive For COVID-19 in New Zealand

New Zealand- 2020 has seen Pakistan struggle with economy as well as the global pandemic, COVID-19. Out of a 30 man squad which left for New Zealand on Monday, 6 have tested positive for the deadly virus. New Zealand, a country that has managed to contain the disease quite well, is now expressing concerns over these infections.
The PCB chairman, however, was of a completely different opinion in a conference that aired tonight. “I know how this looks, bringing a deadly virus back into a country that has almost eradicated it. Our Prime Minister wanted to increase our exports, which is exactly what we’re doing. We’re helping the governments of both countries. More infections mean a better immunity for the people of New Zealand.”
“They have warned us of deportation if we continue to violate the SOPs. Well, I say bring it on. If that’s the case, we’ll make sure we all get infected. We won’t be coming back alone, all those oxygen cylinders, masks and hand sanitizers, they’re coming with us. That’s free import, what else do you want from us?”
